The Challenge:

The direct mail pieces from other marketing vendors were being sent too often and the same database was being reused with no new prospects being added into the mix.

The Process:

New contacts were the starting point and a conquest customer data list was compiled in their direct geographic area. In fact, three different sets of lists were created: 1. Vehicle based for Lexus and Toyota owners in their primary zip codes, 2. Lease based with 6 months or under lease expiration dates, 3. Credit based with less than perfect credit for used car sales.

 

The Results:

These stores sold 147 cars to conquest customers within the 3-month direct mail test period and spent $100,000 for the total campaign. As these were all new clients which in turn offered the opportunity for new revenue for service and parts.

In addition, the total time taken by the dealership to review artwork and messaging regarding the direct mail campaigns takes less than 2 hours every 90 days.
